Scope of use

Office AI Add-in provides intelligent suggestions, translation, summarization, custom AI commands, AIGEN functions, automation, script-solution management, community discussion, and downloads for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. AI output, scripts, and automated results are for reference only; users must confirm their suitability for their own business needs.

AI features

Translation, summarization, custom AI, command generation, and AIGEN functions are initiated by the user and may send selected content, document excerpts, prompts, and necessary context to the service or model provider. Do not submit confidential, illegal, infringing, unauthorized, or highly sensitive content.

Accounts and community content

Accounts, phone numbers, and email addresses may be used as sign-in credentials. Display names may be public; phone numbers, email addresses, and account identifiers are masked by default. Users must not post illegal or infringing material, malicious scripts, spam, or unrelated content.

Downloads and updates

Downloads point to the current public release. To fix issues, maintain Office compatibility, improve security, and reduce upgrade interruptions, the add-in may check its version and use silent-install parameters during updates. Automatic updates primarily compare local versions; accessing the update server may create ordinary server access logs.

Features not currently enabled

This release does not use third-party payments, third-party sign-in, or third-party analytics SDKs, and no formal paid plan is available. We will update these terms and the privacy notice before enabling them.

Limitation of liability

Back up important files before operating on them. Add-in behavior, scripts, and automations may vary with Office versions, system permissions, and document state; users must review important results.
